It is an offence to import the following items into Maldives: explosives, weapons, firearms, ammunition, pornographic material, materials deemed contrary to Islam including 'idols for worship' and bibles, pork and pork products, and alcohol. Alcoholic drinks are only available on resort islands.
Kuramathi is located in Rasdhoo Atoll (administratively part of North Ari Atoll), a tiny atoll with just 5 islands.
Kuramathi is 56 km west from Male’ International Airport.
Transfer to Kuramathi is arranged either via seaplane or by speedboat.
Seaplane transfers are organised during day light hours. Seaplane transfers are booked in accordance with your international flight details.
Boat transfers take approximately 75 to 90 minutes and run three times daily at set times.
The Maldives has a tropical climate with warm temperatures and a great deal of sunshine year-round. The weather is determined largely by the monsoons; the Northeast monsoon from December to April and the Southwest monsoon from May to November, during which period more rain is experienced. As the Maldives is situated across the equator, severe storms are rare.
The Medical Centre is the best equipped one in this area, and features the largest hyperbaric (decompression) chamber in the Maldives. It is equipped to handle diving accidents or other emergencies. In addition to the hyperbaric chamber, the Medical Centre also features modern diagnostic devices for carrying out ECG and audiometry. It includes a small ward with two beds. Two German doctors, a Diving Medical Officer and a General Practitioner, are employed year round.
Yes, children of all ages are welcome. Bageecha our kids club offers daily programs for children of 3 to 12 years.
Your meals are included in the main restaurants which offer breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets for guests who book Select All Inclusive have the option to dine around.
Breakfast is continental with a wide selection cereal, fresh pastries and breads, fresh fruits, juices, and a live cooking station offering eggs, waffles and pancakes prepared to your liking.
Lunch is a light affair, featuring a variety of salads and sandwiches.
Dinner offers themed buffets from all around the world.
(premium dishes such as lobster and Private Dining Experiences are not included).
Kindly note that the restaurant facilities are exclusively for the use of guests staying on Kuramathi only.
US Dollar is preferred all over the Maldives but we do accept Euros, Sterling Pound and Swiss Francs as well.
It is advisable to have some cash at hand when travelling in case you want to buy some small items. We accept US dollars from $20 and above and the notes must be in a good state, i.e. not written on, or torn or wrinkled. Notes must be issued from 2007 and onwards as the banks in the Maldives no longer accept previous versions of USD currency.

Snorkelling equipment is available from the Aqua Sports Excursions (next to the Eco Centre). The use of snorkelling equipment is included for all guests on All Inclusive. For full board guests, snorkelling equipment is charged at US $11.60 per person per day (including snorkel, mask and fins). Guests on all inclusive may keep the equipment with them for their entire stay and return it prior to departure.
You don’t really need to bring a lot of shoes but if you are going to the gym then you would need gym shoes otherwise you can do with open slippers.
It could be advisable to bring insect repellents as this a tropical island. Mosquito repellents are available in our shop as well.
Regular evening entertainment is available including discos, DJs, live band, solo singer, unplugged duo, movie nights and karaoke.
We ask all guests not to smoke inside the bedrooms, and use the ashtrays provided on the outside deck.
All our restaurants are non-smoking restaurants with the exception of Island Coffee Shop, which has both a smoking and a non-smoking section. For all other restaurants, designated smoking areas are located outside the restaurants.
In order to protect the privacy of our guests and team members, as well as for their safety, we do not allow the operation of drones within the resort premises, unless explicitly authorised and supervised by the resort.
